Astra 2/Eurobird in Ruka-Kuusamo
I am looking to install a dish in Ruka and I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea of the size of dish needed for the following:
Eurobird transponders
Astra 2A/2B North transponders
Astra 2A/2B South transponders
Astra 2D transponders
I've read some promising Astra 2D side-lobe reports from Kuusamo, does anyone know if the signal is better or worse in Ruka? I know these types of signals can be unpredictable even over short distances.
I've looked at various footprint maps but would prefer some real experience from people in the area if possible.
